In the 2017-18 academic year, Food Services purchased 26.86 percent of its food from local sources. Food Services establishes lasting and beneficial relationships with local farmers and producers, as well as helps develop a stronger local economy by supporting North Carolina businesses.

Rivers Street Cafe is celebrating this commitment to local purchasing with two lunch menus featuring ingredients from around the Carolinas. These menus will be available from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
